AI Driven Classifacation Model

The Kinetic Chain and Body Mechanics

Once data analysis and classification are complete, our system generates personalized, predictive insights that support each user’s unique biomechanics and activity types. By grouping users based on gait and alignment patterns, we offer highly tailored insights, from injury risk indicators to athletic performance metrics and efficiency scores. These personalized insights give users the tools to optimize their performance and body alignment.

Impact Forces

Alignment within the kinetic chain starts from the ground up, with the feet serving as the foundation for the body’s entire movement system. When this alignment is off—whether due to maliallignment or improper biomechanics—it affects each joint along the kinetic chain, creating a cascade of effects that travel through the ankles, knees, hips, and spine. Ground reaction forces, the forces exerted by the ground on the body with each step, amplify the impact of these misalignments, leading to strain, reduced efficiency, and heightened risk for injury over time. The SelnerTx device is designed to address these foundational issues by providing real-time alignment adjustments through its advanced, customizable alignment system of 19 settings. This device optimizes alignment and distributes ground reactive forces evenly across the kinetic chain, reducing strain and promoting efficient, pain-free movement. By targeting alignment from the ground up, SelnerTx benefits users with improved performance, reduced injury risk, and long-term movement health, whether in athletic pursuits or daily activities.

The SelnerTx IMU sensor captures comprehensive kinematic and dynamic force data, providing real-time insights into movement and alignment. Kinematic metrics track motion—speed, angles, and positions—while dynamic forces reveal the body’s responses to impact, assessing areas like load-bearing, joint stability, and shock absorption. Velocity, angular momentum, ground reaction force estimations, and stride consistency metrics all come together to offer a detailed view of gait efficiency and joint e fficiency , helping users and providers optimize alignment, enhance performance, and prevent injury through better-informed movement insights. Our alignment metrics focus on tracking joint movement and overall posture, helping ensure the body moves efficiently. This includes analyzing open and closed kinetic chain motions, measuring the range of motion throughout the body, and assessing alignment consistency across varied activities. Alignment metrics include efficacy scores for natural alignment, ensuring optimal joint loading and reduced injury risk. To improve movement and endurance, we measure how the body uses energy, engages muscles, and maintains balance. Energy expenditure tracks calories used, muscle activation reveals engagement and coordination, while stride symmetry and a fatigue index assess balanced movement and endurance. Together, these metrics help identify areas for optimizing athletic performance.
